      Pros

      Flexible hours allow you to work as you please. You can come in and leave whenever you like as long as you stay within the guidelines. Another pro are the great benefits including insurance, vacations, and 401K

      Cons

      Most of your business comes from government, so it relies on government spending. Another con is they offer certain benefits to entice you to join, such as Summer Flex (which allows you to take every other Friday off) but you are not encouraged to actually do so

      Amazing Place to Work (if you like aircraft!)

      Pros

      We work on some of the most amazing, complicated and important products in the world. Our aircraft and sustainment services directly support the men and women who defend the United States. It's extremely gratifying to see our products take off from the runway we share with a Joint Reserve Base. There is also a strong emphasis on improving a culture which hasn't always been the most conducive to young people. The top leadership in most areas is exceptional, but middle management varies (see below).

      Cons

      Middle management can range from outstanding to just downright awful depending on the area you work in. It is very difficult to generalize this over such a large company. Also, the size of the company can make people feel lost or neglected at times. Promotions are largely based on time with the company, though there have been improvements to this system in recent years.

      Pros

      Located in nice rural area. Great place to raise kids, no traffic. Affordable real estate. The work is interesting and challenging.

      Cons

      No one is required to work over time, but if you don't put in at least 44 hours on a regular basis, then you aren't challenging yourself. You'll be challenged to complete your task with less schedule and budget then you started out with. Management is risk averse, so a lot of opportunities are wasted. Expect to pay high real estate taxes.
