      Pros

      You get excellent benefits if you are keen on travelling, good work/life balance.

      Cons

      Very difficult to go up the career ladder due to limited prospects. This is an industry you go to work if you are passionate about travelling but not to earn a lot of money.

      Strong brand, great safety record, but decision making takes too long

      Pros

      - strong brand which is recognized all over the world, employees identify themselves with the 'crane' - great safety culture, aircraft are well maintained - diverse job families within the corporation and possibilities to change jobs between companies - good benefits, but they are becoming more and more limited

      Cons

      - Corporate culture is too "German" - too much time goes by before decisions are made due to the need for general consent for every decision - cost measures are often questionable, lots of opportunities for cost-savings go by because they are not pushed enough - only few international managers or employees from different industries in headquarters - not innovative and cost-effective enough to withstand emerging competitors - limited career development possibilities for women (on paper yes, but not in real life)

      Pros

      You get to meet new people from around the world and see the behind-the-scenes action that goes on in airports.

      Cons

      We sometimes have to deal with rude passengers and the computer equipment we get to use is rather old. New uniforms wouldn't hurt either.
