Pros

They give the outside sales team lots of support, and their methodology is a great system to use. Lots of freedom as an outside sales rep, great time off with no hassle, work from home office, and a great $7000 annual car allowance.

Cons

Not paid very well, high turnover, and their 1st week of initial training is brutal, it is geared toward somebody who has absolutley no idea about selling, yet, to be an outside sales rep you need experience. They really need to change their training program. Not very well respected by customers, think about it, you sell pens and paper.

Pros

very competitive industry, great training programs, good people that work as colleagues all over the country. also very interesting opportunites throughout the world.

Cons

structure of how to manage sales. i.e. margins etc., can be a bit confusing. Sales expectations sometimes difficult to achieve to reach 'bonus'. this aspect has been and can be very discouraging for people who are out there beating the pavement and working to increase sales only to be held back by the fact the margin is not sufficient or within the parameters outlined by senior management.
