      Pros

      If you're working overseas the GeoBlue healthcare plan is really pretty good. Most of the managers/supervisors are pretty good however, they seem to be fighting a losing battle against the bureaucracy of ManTech corporate.

      Cons

      Just like most defense contractors now, ManTech doesn't have any employee loyalty. They use you for what they can and if it benefits them at all they cut you lose with no severance and little warning. They do seem to be forth coming about this though, "It's just part of the industry".

      Pros

      Many of the computer programs were easy to use and we had excellent IT support. They have excellent benefits.

      Cons

      Many Navy retirees in positions of authority abuse employees and treat them unfairly. Favoritism is given when filling Job vacancies. I have personally seen jobs given to friends and family members who had no experience in the industry at all. In my case, people with no experience were hired above me and I was tasked with teaching them their job. Being a military retiree myself, a disabled veteran and a grandfather with a bachelors degree, this was the most horrible experience in my employment history.
