      Pros

      I find my local management is consistently good. They are qualified engineers and good leaders. I have been working for 40 years and have a lot to compare to. I have little to complain about in the area of salary and benefits. They don't nag me which I consider a major plus and I feel like an accepted and valued team member. They perform as well as any top-tier consulting company and I have worked for several of the best.

      Cons

      Local site management has little influence with the customer. They offer good advice which is promptly discarded. The job is extremely challenging.

      Pros

      The more that an employee can look across the whole organization, network and look for ways to innovate, there are a lot of ways to grow.

      Cons

      Continue to look into emerging markets.

      Defense contracting division (Mission Support and Services) culture very much like that of their customers.

      Pros

      A large percentage of employees are former military so veterans will find a very familiar atmosphere. Not afraid of giving new employees important responsibilities. Better than average commitment to employee growth.

      Cons

      Definitely two classes of employees: Corporate - who are secure in their jobs and Contractors - who are jettisoned as soon as their government contract ends. Recruiting Managers and Human Resource department are not always in-synch - prospective employees should ensure everything is in writing and expect to reject the first couple offer letters as being to generic. Regardless of what anyone tells you, if you don't get it in writing you're not going to get it. Depending on which division you work for, vacation/paid holiday benefits are below average,
