Low pressure environment, healthy attitude towards work-life balance. Generally friendly environment from the people. Good communities to socially be involved in.
Cons
Roles and responsibilities are not determined very specifically which leads to a lack of accountability which is frustrating for those with ambition. Inter-function support is rare/lack-luster and each function often acts as separate entities. Progression is not encouraged and requires grit to keep pursuing, with time served at the company seeming to be a significant factor in promotion.
