Cons

At this company you are negatively discriminated for being qualified for the job. People without degrees are paid more than people with degrees with the same level of experience. This is nonsense. Great company to work for if you are not qualified though.

The people, the camaraderie, the work itself, benefits are good. Work-life balance excellent, you are well looked after if you have a family. Facilities are good, offices pleasant.

Cons

Poorly run projects, management who resist change. Culture sometimes doesn't reflect values. Sometimes, in some parts of the company, diversity and inclusion could have been better.

The roof only leaks sometimes The office temperature is normally safe The food is generally edible The pay is normally on time

Cons

Pay is significantly below market average. Public sector pays more for less responsibilities! Company claims to be dynamic and forward thinking - still hasn't implemented Agile working after 5 years. Feels like there's 3 managers for every 1 employee - nothing ever gets done in a sensible timeframe. Applies "one size fits all" mentality to all problems, ignoring things like neurodiversity (whilst claiming to be a champion).
