Pros

The experience is great and you could really use this as a stepping stool to grow with the company. Do not feel bad if you work at the lowest level, at least you cant get demoted only promoted, you will gain experience to climb up the company ladder and if interested after becoming a district manager you could one day find yourself owning your own franchise and being in a position to better other people's lives.

Cons

you may get ridiculed by people but really these are the people who are just to scared of what other people think of them and 99% of them will never follow there dreams because they fear being ridiculed themselves.

Pros

My biggest reason for working there as long as I have is the hours and flexibility. If I need off an entire weekend, I get it. If I need off a whole week, I can get that too. If I can only work for 4 hours a day or want to work 10, I basically get anything I need to get. Because they're open for 16 hours a day, there is a huge window of available shifts.

Cons

The pay is terrible as can be expected, working with people who don't care because it's "just McDonald's," customers who treat you like you're a lower being. Overall, I think the stigma associated with working at McDonald's is one of its biggest downfalls.

Pros

The best reason to work at McDonald's is the other employees. They are all around your age, so you get along really well most of them (always some bad ones). The second best reason to work at McDonalds would probably be the casual nature of the job, which when you are a student - is really good. The work is also pretty easy, though monotonous.

Cons

By far, the biggest downside about working at McDonald's would be dealing with the customers. The vast majority of customers are alright, but occasionally you get some really hard ones, though thats more indicative of the clientele McDonald's serves.
