Pros
Less bureaucracy than other similar-sized companies, open culture, internal mobility and encouragement to try out different types of projects, lots of development- and learning opportunities. High-quality coworkers -- everyone tries hard and the environment is generally collaborative. I am constantly being challenged by big, open-ended problems. Firm generally tries to be customer-focused and to do good within the constraints of being a for-profit company.
Cons
Perhaps this is how it is at most companies, but team priorities/goals often shift fast. Team goals tend to be a bit siloed and different teams sometimes work at cross-purposes.
