Pros

The tech stack is huge with many in house solutions. There were many skilled people who built this in the past.

Cons

Quite an unhealthy place. Toxicity, policitis, constant backstabbing and bad optics from team members and manager to stack rank and manage out folks without the option to challenge ratings. People are burning out from this a lot and eventually leaving with health issues. Some teams are heavily understaffed and the WLB is poor. While more political orgs with a lack of scope have enormous headcount. Employees are being fired 1 day they go on maternity leave, or didn't survive their first performance review. If an engineer tries something risky and fails to deliver, it's a high chance of bad rating and layoff. Engineers are taken from their teams into some projects without options to opt out. The CEO thinks money can fix all problems but morale does not exist anymore.

Pros

Ok pay, free food onsite. Campus has bikes you can ride. Doctors and dentists onsite. My team has interesting work.

Cons

Very long work hours. Leadership has demonstrated they have no strategic direction on the company direction. Leadership has also shown they don't care about employee morale. You're treated as an expendable resource here that is just here to train your AI replacement. Everything is about the performance review cycle here. Long term thinking and planning does not help psc so no one does it. Pay is not higher than competitors.
