      - Very comp - Lots of autonomy and flexibility - Plenty of very smart people to learn from - Challenging tasks - Easy to change teams

      Cons

      - Lot of chaos especially in product teams and integrity - High level of red tape in product development - Constant re-org and change of direction - Offices outside of CA have limited options for internal mobility - Work/life balance may be very bad (esp in the USA) but it depends on org/team

      Pros

      On cool thing about working at Meta is to realise that almost everyone you see during your regular day uses software you are building. Meta gives unique opportunity of working with unprecedented scale that poses super interesting engineering challenges. And you'll be working on them together with extremely talented engineers. Of course, let's don't forget about good compensation and decent management.

      Cons

      I would mention quite a poor work-life balance and lack of recognition. Several rounds of severe layoffs was also quite a tough time to get through.
