Very laid back culture, with good culture, respect internally, occasionally shook up by layoffs
Pros
Good company to learn technology for new graduates in midwest, but for professionals will yearn for more. Settling down in midwest, then its a good place to work, for a decent salary in the suburbs for a laid back technology work. Management doesn't mistreat engineering teams, fun activities yearly and lots of vacation time the longer you stay. If you are not after money, but for a decent settled life in Chicago, this is a place to be for technology professionals.
Cons
Not the best place for professionals to stay on the long run. Difficult to climb the ladder, top 20% brings together all others work to complete the solution, your career growth is your hands, not management (against what HR claims). Pay raises/bonuses can be small on a average, compared to the market.
