Pros
The amount of vacation that is given is actually above average. And work/life balance hasn't been too bad, but it depends on your current project.
Cons
You are treated as a number within PTC. There is a good chance that your boss knows nothing at all about what you are doing. But that's ok, because there is no chance at all for a raise (they don't believe in merit increases) and very little chance for advancement. The layoffs happen every 3 months. You have no input whatsoever to what you are assigned. If you try to request certain things, you get in trouble for meddling in things that aren't your business.
