Outdated, very limitedm or no documented processes - you can tell it was a startup and there haven't been any scalable processes in place so far. "Just ask" - you will get as many (wildly different) answers to the same question as the amount of people you asked - but don't worry, you can show ownership by choosing one and hoping it'll be okay. Management isn't clear or transparent, support is offered yet rarely given. "Let me get back to you" is what you'll hear no matter how urgent the topic. You'll have to do your best (and prove it) even when the hoops you're jumping through are constantly moving, some are taken away and some are added. Sure keeps you nimble. Unpaid over time, constant dismissal of concerns & ideas, uneven workload.

- Managers who have little/no experience with massive egos and cannot take when their decisions are not accepted as the best way forward - Positions being filled by scratching each others back, instead of putting the best candidate into it. - Toxic culture - Overbearing German ways of working - No idea on how to internationalise leading to a withdrawal from other european markets to focus once again on Germany. - Switching strategy every 3 months which instilled crisis not confidence into people
