Lacking a culture of innovation

Pros

Well known, global company with very high quality products. Provide excellent training on products. Friendly culture across all levels.

Cons

This is a German company, and all decisions take place in HQ. Do not have a clear understanding of what they want to focus on. Electronics, Device Connectors, Networking, or Solar products. They also don't have a clear channel strategy, and do a lot of business direct rather than through distribution, especially in Europe.

Pros

You can get continous trainings, renewel, and a good working athmosphere. Sometimes your duties are improved and small changes may occur, continous development in business tools and systems are defenete.

Cons

If you are a non-engineer you have no chance to get further in your career. management sometimes forgets to appreciate hard working and brilliant projects. Some of HQ support departments are very passive in general and not willing to participate in reaching the common company goals.
