      Pros

      - great pay - great products - career opportunities are bright if you're good

      Cons

      - strict and hierarchical culture (top-down) - more managers than leaders - too proud of their prestige status (too entitled to hear out / implement feedback of unsatisfied employees), are not open to new ideas that challenge the status quo, not transparent at all, very snobby towards subsidiaries and service providers - offices could be better (were quite old when I left) - people who work quick need to carry the stuff by people who don't

      Solid company for Germans, not so much for foreigners

      Pros

      Work life balance is generally pretty good for many jobs. Pay is good relative to Germany for non-management positions. Job security for people with unlimited contracts is amazing. Great place to work if you are a German.

      Cons

      Bad place for non-Germans, especially English speakers. Many employees are either unwilling or unable to speak English at all (F-Ressort [finance and IT division]). Difficult to advance in pay quickly. Benefits aren’t super-competitive on an international level (no stock comp for most employees, most people get the same bonus every year).
