Very demanding work culture. There are many opportunities to advance; however, once you are in management, they own you. You will be paid very handsomely but unless you don't mind long hours on weekends and around holidays then it may not be worth it.

for part times most of us do not get consistant good hours.sometimes you might get low hours.In order to get retail bonus you have to work 250 hours a quarter.for some this is hard to get if you are not one of their favorites.hard to stand long days but low hours..managers that sometimes do not work but just play around.loss of health insurance for many due to lack of hours to maintain coverage.for me publix is basically becoming a no benefit job
