      Pros

      PwC has an amazing network of knowledge and resources. They compensate for obtaining your CPA and pay for your testing and study material expenses. They work hard to keep their staff well informed of current issues. Plenty of perks from working in a highly profitable, large firm.

      Cons

      The heirachy can be frustrating, and the work can be dry. Some clients are more engaging than others so it is frustrating to be stuck on a boring/hard client. The pay is less than other jobs at comperable skill levels. Busy season leaves many employees feeling overworked and underappreicated.

      Pros

      If you want to build a resume or/and salary history, go there. Nice dinners during overtime covered by the firm. Benefits are OK. Vacation time is good (if you can use it). If you are really good in bringing clients, you can make tons of money.

      Cons

      Bone crushing boring work, crazy schedules, overtime (not covered). The key here is that the firm's efficiency is measures in hours charged to the clients, not some tangible products. So, the employees are destined to overtime, because this is how the partners make money. They promise you bunch of staff in terms of career development, but it's just talk. Most people work there for 2 years (or max 5 to get vested in 401k) and then go elsewhere.
