Pros

Nice office environment, buildings are nice and well kept. There are some really gifted and talented people at Qualcomm who are very generous with their knowledge and time.

Cons

Too many office politics not enough strategic business thinking and problem solving. Hours are spent on colorful presentations for management that are meaningless and useless. No project management process, practice, or appreciation for what real project management is.

Pros

Pay and benefits are good. Culture used to be awesome.

Cons

So why did I quit? Highly political work environment, no more raises, lack of job stability (management said no layoffs in our small team but one week later, one of our teammates is gone), work/life balance is pretty bad for hardworking, competent workers but great for career inhouse politicians who like to "work from home."
