Pros

-Free cafeteria-quality food in office (if you're standing in line early enough) -The company seems to be doing well

Cons

-Among the worst corporate culture in tech. From top to bottom, the Seattle office is filled with ex-Amazon managers. They brought over the toxic culture rewarding backstabbing engineers, management driven by short-term metrics, and abysmal work-life balance -Inexperienced people managers with no management aptitude -Experienced manager with no management aptitude (i.e. micromanaging directors)

Pros

Health insurance premiums are 100% paid. They have snacks around the office and free catered lunch three times a week. You can bring your dog to work. Dress is casual, although maybe a bit too casual.

Cons

Management and compensation. The company is trying to play a careful balance between paying as little as possible while hiring as strictly as possible for quality. This results in them always being understaffed and their employees overworked. Management prides itself on being blunt to demand excellence, but the actual impact is that employees are afraid of management. Turnover is fairly high, and career growth can become stagnant.
