Pros

The people and culture in Qualtrics is brilliant and of massive importance to the organisation. This is one of the many reasons why I have stayed here for such a long period of time. Qualtrics hire very smart people so its really nourishing to come to work and learn new things from people on your team or your boss on a daily basis. Qualtrics is tough and challenging for all the right reasons. If you are willing to put in the work and are able to take knock backs to progress your career, there probably is no better place to mould yourself as a sales person. Grit & determination is key to success here and it is most definitely rewarded. Impatience and frustration is too often a reason for people leaving the company - Well In Dublin anyway! I love the autonomy given to the staff in Qualtrics. There is every opportunity to use your intuition with new ideas or ways of doing things. In fact if you try something and it works, its not long before your being asked to share it around and help others. This is an environment where you can become a leader in whatever code and are free to collaborate and drive teams on with you with no obstacles.

Cons

Base Salary - Still slightly low compared with other Tech companies however they are making incremental changes regularly to lift the bar. Inconsistencies in levels of competency across the sales Management team. Some are superstars who can coach the best out of people and some are less gifted. Maybe some level of coaching could be provided to management to get everyone on a level playing field.

Pros

1. Office is relatively nice and there are snacks, 3 meals catered a week 2. You can learn a lot of things here since you will have a lot of chances to build a product from scratch and be responsible for every aspect of it 3. Work life balance varies from team to team

Cons

1. They want to be next google, but it is actually a sales-driven company. All they care is about making profit instead of doing thing the right way and infra is crappy. 2. Employee compensation is below the industry average 3. Cross team communication is difficult and documentation is POOR. 4. Management doesn't actually value your opinion and interest. 5. RSUs are negligible if you join now

We appreciate your feedback. Thank you for making time to share. Feedback is very important to us and we appreciate you noting the importance of listening to employees. To help us, we run regular employee engagement surveys and share the results with the whole company at our weekly meetings. With that feedback, we put in place action plans and also report back to the company. Our latest engagement survey just went out last week and we're looking forward to seeing additional ways we can improve the employee experience at Qualtrics.

Pros

- Intelligent co-workers who collaborate pretty well. - Office location. - Tech benefits i.e. Food, alcohol, 'cool' office.

Cons

- Very low percentage of AE's hitting quota, leading to a demotivated and demoralised workforce, which is quite sad given the work put in generally. - Poor training. Messy scheduling, inadequate when scheduled correctly, sometimes provided by those who know less than new hires.. - Below standard base wage and most not earning much more. - Sales floor very quiet and sometimes lifeless. - Senior management (particularly coming from States) billing Qualtrics as a 'land of hope and dreams', which falls very short locally given the amount of false hope and nightmares going on. - The above & more leading to a crazy turnover rate, leaving experienced AE's wondering why they're not doing the same, and new hires wondering what's going on..

Thank you for your leaving a review. We get feedback from our employees from a whole host of channels and we’re committed to using it to improve the experience for all Qualtrics employees I’m sorry to hear you found some challenges in your role, so I just wanted to reply to let you know we’re working hard to act on all feedback we receive. For example, sales training is a key priority for us and just this week our new sales trainer started to help formalise the training we give our teams. Thanks again for giving us feedback - feel free to reach out to me on dermotc@qualtrics.com if you want to talk it through in person.
