Pros

The bank is doing extremely well as canadian banks have been insulated from the US real estate market The is alot of opportunity for movement within the bank

Cons

Hours can be long as RBC attempts to compete with the top tier with some ground to make up in systems and initiatives that need to be implemented

Pros

The salary was ok, compared to market competition.

Cons

Everything else. Goals so high nobody can reach them- reminds me of Wachovia (which is why I left that bank too). Priorities grossly mismanaged...customer service support from the back office was putrid, everyone passed the buck, and no one...NOT ONE PERSON took any responsibility for anything. Higher level managers were all promoted based on politics. This bank is a backward, dog-eat-dog, showcase of Corporate America Disgust.
