Pros

Feedback? Oh, you mean that generic email they copy-paste to everyone. Truly inspiring insight, Odd hours and Dates of interviews. Transparency is key… somewhere else. At RBC, you're left guessing what went wrong, what went right, or whether anyone even read your resume. Fast-paced environment! Especially when it comes to how quickly you go from “top candidate” to “we’ve decided to move in a different direction.” Diversity of experience guaranteed – every candidate gets a unique version of the same vague, robotic rejection. Truly values your time… as long as it’s unpaid, unacknowledged, and ends in radio silence. Career growth opportunities – if you're a magician who can figure out their process, culture, or communication style. Collaboration at its best – except when it comes to recruiting, where silence is the loudest message.

Cons

I wanted to share some honest feedback regarding my recent interview experience with RBC Corporate Banking. Unfortunately, it was disappointing and frustrating. Despite going through multiple rounds, I received no clear or constructive feedback. The communication felt generic and impersonal, raising concerns about how seriously candidates are evaluated. It gave the impression of a disorganized or perhaps disingenuous process, which is surprising from a company with RBC’s reputation. I invested significant time and effort in preparing for the interviews, and it’s discouraging to feel that the process lacked transparency and fairness. Based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable recommending RBC to others as an employer. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to improve the experience for future candidates.

Pros

Big company, corporation, benefits, development

Cons

The organization prioritizes protecting its reputation with RBC above the well-being of its employees. Leadership is controlling, dishonest, and unsupportive, with reports of discriminatory behavior and demeaning treatment. Employees who have left consistently describe their experiences as deeply toxic and dehumanizing, with management using intimidation tactics to silence dissent and maintain a polished image for RBC.

Pretty humane bank most people aren't completely full of themselves. Pay is overall solid but not fantastic either. The seniors are about 50% exceptional

Cons

50% of seniors are mediocre paper pushers Relatively poor HR management which has recently seen some of the best performers get fired.
