Pros

Above average salary and bonus. Employer discounted cell phone plans/insurance etc. Usual bank employee benefits like free chequing account etc etc. Solid company performance, and great name to have on a resume.

Cons

This is my specific experience from a certain team. Might be different in other teams. 1. Extremely stressful and toxic work environment. Constant fighting and backstabbing among project teams. Management cares nothing about you. Unrealisitic deadlines. Every meeting I attended was a shouting match, and hence very unpleasant. 2. Basic infrastructure required for work was not provided. 3. No on-boarding, no project documentation, no reference to do work and an ancient codebase. 4. Unclear job duties. Devr was expected to work as busine.ss analyst and qu-ality analyst plus regular dev duties. 5. Never met anyone from the hum-an res.ource department from the day I was called for an interview, till the last day in my organization. 6. Long hours and expectation to work really long. Work from home is frowned upon. 7. Did I say management doesn't care. They are in their own separate world.
