Pros

I was an employee of Goodrich to UTC transition. During the transition I learned a lot about acquiring a company and what it takes to be such a large corporation.

Cons

You do get loss in the mix.

Pros

coworkers are nice if you are popular it is a contest. Great job to begin your career but do not stay for long. its not worth it.

Cons

no loyalty Managers and leaders don't know what they are doing its all about the bottom line so people are replaceable. mentorship program is a bit of a joke but you may get lucky. Managers always try to make things look good to leadership is happy. This causes things not to get resolves and constant putting out fires. No standard work so every manufacturing location has their own set of rules. Leadership does not know how to manage their groups since there are too many chiefs. Benefits are pretty expensive with high deductible.

Pros

Regular three day weekends were awesome for vacation planning.

Cons

It’s not what you know at RTX… it’s who. Not competitive with pay. They play dirty, with clean hands. Removed work from home flexibility and guilt trip you anytime you need to work from home now. Felt very micro-managed as of late.
