Great Place to Work but with Quirks
Pros
Benefits are excellent, plenty of flexibility in the work schedule and fosters a team environment. Pay is ok, average. Very good fit with colleagues, more than adequate management communication globally and locally. Global initiatives are met with positive responses from all employees.
Cons
Very odd performance review system and, in my experience, inconsistent. Performance is rated on a curve, with an expected number to fall below "meets expectations". Management follows that curve so that a small handful of employees who may have met every expectation throughout the year were assigned below average rating to meet the Roche standard. Also, I have seen a "partially meets expectations" on the compensation review, yet no rating at all entered into the internal HR Portal. Unclear career path for many non-exempt positions
