Pros
The compensation and benefits outrank most other companies around by a long shot. Despite constant reorgs and cuts, a lot of people have high tenures overall -- not uncommon to find employees with over 15 years of service.
Cons
Not unlike any other big company, at Roche you can land the job of your dreams - either bliss or a nightmare. One manager might be very open and honor the cultural beliefs another will micromanage you out of your sanity. And no matter how much or what they espouse, office politics are present everywhere. They are not immune whatsoever to the typical corporate culture in America.
