Pros

Overall, SAIC has good benefits, and pays at a fair market rate.They are loyal, and will try to keep employees even if they have lost a contract.

Cons

Little investment in training or mentoring Silos - no exposure to projects within company Every contract is creating the wheel for the first time All roads lead to PM

Pros

Great company to work for. String management, supportive colleagues, lots of opportunities for career growth.

Cons

Not much flex work or remote when I was there. Longer hours and/or weekend work sometimes required during busy times - but in general pretty good balance.

We adopted an optional 9/80 flexible work schedule where employees work a combination of 80 hours over nine days, then enjoy a Friday off every other week.
