Large company with a diverse portfolio of customers--allows management to delegate authority and responsibility for programs and projects. Minimizes interference from process-centric, micro-management and allows individuals to take risks and maximize successes.

Cons

Since it is a large company, it is difficult to know what is happening in other business units. Would be beneficial to have inter-BU cross-talks to capture best practices and share information to maximize business development opportunities in similar sectors or task areas.

Cons

Being a contractor always puts you at risk to lose work but that isn't the company's fault.
