It's a place to work. It's just a job not a family

Pros

The fellow employs are great to work with. The flex schedule is a plus

Cons

SAIC’s higher managements lack of the ability to say no. . As for benefits don’t get sick. The health insurance is overpriced and you have to pay a big chunk before they cover anything. This is not a company you will spend your career with.

Pros

Good pay, lots of varied programs/projects, interesting work

Cons

SAIC is effectively a body shop for the Government. This is not necessarily a con but people who join SAIC should understand this and not take it personally that the company won't "carry" you when a contract goes away.

Pros

Great project management and technical depth

Cons

3 CEO's in 4 years, company split resulting in lack of management focus, disconnected systems and lack of process discipline. Not sure there's a plan.
