Pros

International assignments can help you grow your experience and learn more about business operations in the local area you are stationed at.

Cons

Some management was not able to keep our contract for my two year minimum commitment and so I was left to search for other opportunities.

Pros

On principal, the company is supportive of telework. With the broad scope of business, there are opportunities for literally thousands of different skill sets. The company provides a lot of different opportunities for professional development provided the budget and scope is supported by your lowest level manager. I have been very satisfied with the salary level.

Cons

Technologically, the support for teleworkers is lacking considerably. The company is huge and as a result is riddled with corporate bureaucracy. The government contracting field is not for everyone (myself included). As the company grows and changes strategies, the individual begins to seem ever-increasingly expendable. I do not feel secure any longer than my project's contract end date.
