Cons

Layoffs in Corporate and operating unit functions are happening continuously for people working in San Diego - my career path moved East and I decided not to relocate.

Great colleagues, usually on client site which is better than being in the office. flexible schedule.

Cons

If you have strong leadership within the Business Unit you will have a good experience. If you're stuck in a Business Unit that is struggling then you will struggle at promotions, obtaining training, etc.

Mainly defense contractor, if working in a different field growth potential is limited If job requires you to work on-site with the customer you loose contact with the company Few holidays and little vacation time.
