Pros

Project oriented with opportunities to branch out on other projects. Entrepreneurial spirit. Good benefits with 4+ weeks of vacation, insurance, and 401K contributions.

Cons

Ken Dahlberg is no longer CEO, but when he was he was the major factor in employees feeling like second class citizens under his autocratic "regime". The focus on government only is very near sighted, we've got to branch out. Local management can be bad as long as their numbers meet expectations, they often have little regard for their employees.

Pros

I always felt that our main drive at SAIC was to "do the right thing" rather than just make the most profit, which was important to me. I was paid a very respectable salary and the benefits were pretty good. Management was generally open, professional and friendly.

Cons

Sometimes, I felt that leadership was lacking, and there was little drive to move people around within the company or be creative to retain positions within the company when our contract was completed. Internal communication and collaboration within the company was also lacking.
