Work with great people and pay is good.

Cons

Family member let go/put on leave without pay for not acquiring certification on first try. Didn't give him opportunity to retry. Informed by email with no direct verbal communication from his leadership.

Pros

Currently I am going through the layoff process at SAIC. The corporate support staff are being responsive as I ask questions and get forms filled out. They direct me to the right contact and in one case filled out and signed a form for me to document having medical coverage before walking the plank. Having a month of LWOP after leaving the project is helpful. It allows me to use my Comp Time to cover the month so normal pay continues.

Cons

This is my third project in the company. The first two projects ran to completion and the redeployment process worked out fine.
