Pros

Pros: you have a lot of autonomy, there’s not much in the way of micromanaging. Good corporate structure. Note: I last worked there august 2019, but they won’t let me choose 2019 as my most recent year.

Cons

Cons: all the money comes from commission, base is not enough to rely on. If you’re a strong salesperson it’s great, if you’re still learning sales this can be challenging to overcome.

Dear former employee, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. It’s great to hear that you appreciated the autonomy and structure at SIXT. We also understand your concerns regarding the commission-based earnings. While our compensation model rewards strong sales performance, we recognize that success in sales can be a learning curve. That’s why we’ve invested in structured onboarding programs and continuous training, designed to help every team member understand our products, connect with customers effectively and build the skills needed to succeed in a performance-driven environment. Thanks again for your feedback. We wish you all the best for the future! Best regards

Pros

Only pro i would say is the pay is good.

Cons

Worst company you can work with, no recognition no matter how good you work. Worst part about it is the toxic environment and jealous colleagues. If you make good sales, you colleagues will try to pull you down by making fake complaints to management. No job security whatsoever, they will say they promote you today and tomorrow they will fire you for no reason. Once again do not work for this company.

Dear former employee, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience at SIXT was not a positive one. A respectful and supportive team culture is something we care deeply about and it’s disappointing to learn that you felt a lack of recognition and support during your time with us. We take concerns around team dynamics and fairness seriously. While performance and accountability are important in our fast-paced environment, we also know that trust and transparency are key to long-term success, for both our employees and the business. Your feedback is a reminder of how important it is to continuously improve internal communication and ensure that our processes are fair and well-understood. We wish you the very best in your future endeavors and thank you again for your honesty. Best regards
