Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are happy to hear you enjoy working with your team! Here at Sixt we do very often promote from within the company. Check out some of our success stories on social media! If you are interested in an internal opportunity let us know (954-874-1793), so we can interview you for the role. Our management trainees attend an extensive training program in order to be prepared to supervise employees. We also allow employees to review managers on the ESI every quarter to share feedback, letting us know if a manager needs additional training or education. Because we are a start-up in the US, there is a lot of work to accomplish, which is why we continue to hire so many new employees to spread the workload around and provide opportunities for many individuals.

Thank you for letting us know you enjoy working with your team! Our management trainees attend an extensive training program in order to be prepared to supervise employees. Please continue to anonymously review your manager on the ESI surveys we send out every quarter, so we can investigate if additional training is required. Because we are a start-up in the US, we do our best to hire flexible individuals who can handle the ever-changing nature of a start-up company.

Pros

If you are willing to work above and beyond and represent yourself PROFESSIONALLY you will undoubtably get promoted. Company cares about their employees. They pay for every employees cab ride during holiday parties, full insurance, and you get to travel internationally depending on your position. The upper management is available all the time during stressful situations (even weekends and holidays).

Cons

Company is expanding in the US very fast, so it can be stressful at times. Sick days come out of vacation days. Pay rates can be a little higher. HR department could use a little renovation.

We appreciate you providing feedback on your current position with Sixt. We do care for our employees and do our best to provide innovative ways to display this. As far as your concern regarding sick and vacation days, we provide Paid Time Off (PTO) after 6 months. After that, on your anniversary your number of PTO days continues to increase. PTO can be used for sick, personal or vacation days, no separation. In addition, holidays are paid from day one. If you have further concerns regarding HR and/or policies please feel free to reach the VP of HR at 954-874-1793. Thank you again.
