Pros

Hybrid, work-life balance, retirement company

Cons

The management at Sixt in India has significant room for improvement. Many senior leaders appear to be more focused on flattery and favoritism rather than merit. There are instances where managers, if subjected to a technical interview, would score lower than a fresher. This seems to be a systemic issue, designed to avoid hiring technically competent individuals who might challenge the current management. This culture has led to the unfortunate situation where key individuals, who played a pivotal role in establishing Sixt's presence in India, have been laid off due to internal politics. The senior leadership team in India often appears corrupt, with many managers being appointed based on their loyalty rather than their skills or qualifications. They tend to bring in former associates who share their approach, thus perpetuating this cycle. Moreover, it appears that the HR teams are more focused on posting positive reviews on Glassdoor rather than addressing the core issues. Additionally, it has been observed that in anonymous feedback, managers can directly identify how they have been rated by employees, leading to potential political retaliation. This is the reality of Sixt R&D in India.

Pros

No pros at all. Dont ever think about working here

Cons

Leadership has no goals and vision. They only know how to enjoy when the going is good. When things are bad, can just fire everyone without any remorse. Entire company knows only one thing, how to bad mouth each other and play politics, so that own job can be saved and someone who really works hard can be fired.
