Pros

- Great pool of talent to learn from all over the world. - Top-notch tech and platform. - Freedom to push ideas w/o checking your title. - Average-competitive salary & benefits - New CEOs have shown they care about employees and have a good vision for the company.

Cons

- Although the Tech department is quite Tech-oriented. All the rest of the departments are very much "old-way" which makes it sometimes difficult to drive topics that involve them. - There's no super established career path to grow if you need one. - Tech is distributed in 3 locations, with different working cultures, sometimes creating disputes/disagreements. - The office is quite far from the city.

Pros

Working on the modern stack isn't too bad. The cantina is pretty decent. Car lease rates can be excellent.

Cons

If you aren't one of the chosen few, you will find no upward path in this company. Profit sharing is total rubbish. In a year when the family increased it's net worth by over a billion, and received $70M in dividends, total bonus payments to employees were $30-50M (standard 10%). Even as an employee, I had trouble with 75-80% of the rentals I made. Many incompetent employees spread around many departments. No communication about what is happening. The offices suck and they refuse to put in any A/C.

Pros

Sixt R&D center started its operations in Bangalore a couple of years back. The bulk of its people come from top product companies, successful startups, and unicorns. It's an absolute pleasure to work with such smart and intelligent people in building the next mobility platform that envisions taking a person from point A to point B through Rent Share and Ride modes. In such a short span, Sixt Bangalore has contributed several greenfield and brownfield products to the mobility platform. Sixt has a global footprint in 125+ countries so learning opportunities are immense with interesting problems to solve around mobility. Tech stack is pretty awesome with the use of latest technologies. Office and facilities are great and it's a joy to come to work here. Compensation is very competitive and it is bundled with the Sixt Loyalty program which is an added bonus. Culture is fairly relaxed and fun and best of all you get the freedom to pursue excellence and be creative. Great work-life balance.

Cons

An evolving and rapidly expanding company that still has to perfect its processes. Sixt India has nearly tripled in size over the last year has moved to 3 different office spaces. Learning and development programs are still in early stages should speed it up at the earliest. Providing office commute will be a big plus.
