      Pros

      Everyone works together, and we have fun as well as work, the store has fantastic bargains and we get discount on everything, i love working at tkmaxx.

      Cons

      Sometimes the customers do not understand off price, understating it 100 percent as an associate helps as this saves rage and confusion.

      Pros

      A friendly and flexible company to work for. Good social side, good working atmosphere.

      Cons

      Quite physically hard, as the nature of the store means that tidying and stock management is quite hard work. Quite cliquy management team at times who would allow staff politics to get in the way of effective running of the store.

      Fun fast paced work, usually with great people. A good place to start for a career in retail.

      Pros

      Easy to move up the chain, Varied tasks that keep it interesting. You get to use you initiative and creativity.

      Cons

      Time targets are very demanding. Rota's are not always up in advance. You may only know what you are working 1-2 days before the new week starts. Management can be good or bad, differs from store to store. Unless you pro actively go through all the progression booklets, promotions are generally given to favourites.
