Pros

Well paid comparing to other companies in the area. If you're lazy, not ambitious and like to achieve career goals through sweet-talking you just found a perfect employer.

Cons

Massive bunch od sweet talkers, stalkers, lazy team leaders (yes indeed), favourites, pupils caring only about their bits and thinking how to do sweep all their incompetence under the carpet, completely disregarding company policy and values - which are extremely positive and well created, unfortunately only on paper.

Pros

other associates, tk Maxx seem to employ the best sort of people, ranging from all different ages. Sometimes i think if it wasnt for them i wouldn't come to work. Also the chance to progress within in the company is a good scheme as you can work in different countries if you chose too.

Cons

The constant changes within the flow of merch, means extra stress trying to move everything round to fit the store when in reality it just causes extra back ache for the associate and more confusion for the customers. also the amount of managers that each store has causes a lot of stress as each manager/team leader ec have different working views, and associates get told different things off every manager. when something goes wrong its the associate that is in the dog house. The worst part of working for tk maxx ishowever the pay role. I think its shocking how the companies pay role works, and how the rota constantly changes usually for the worse. It doesn't benefit anyone lower than the store manager.

Pros

Fast paced, Competitive Pay, Learnt alot, moulded the role to what I wanted to do.

Cons

Everything seems to be given a 'band-aid' approach to fixing it, no long term strategy on things. If there is, this isn't shared with the wider organisation
