Pros

1. Great culture to learn more about wealth 2. Department invests heavily in licensing and every employee gets access to a $1k training & development budget 3. RRSP match and stock options - upon completion of probation 4. Excellent access to the leadership team for mentoring and coaching 5. Relatively smaller teams to get facetime with TMs

Cons

1. Pay is trailing inflation, new-hire salary, or contribution to business 2. Most Associates do not have the opportunity to revise the comp plan once it is locked in during onboarding 3. Bonus exists. But - it is notional. Does not match your value to the advisor's book. 4. Poor vacation management capabilities.
