Pros

TD Bank as a whole has a very diverse workforce, and TD Securities does too. Cultural celebrations are observed and participated in by people who aren't even of that culture, for example the chinese new year. Some departmens focus a lot on team work, while others are more independent work focused, so there is soemthing for everyone. With the right educaiton, there is a lot of upward mobility. I would also note that TDS is currently the top whole sale bank on bay street in several categories. Also, TD, led by TDS, stayed out of a lot of the sub-prime debacle.

Cons

Very much oganized into silos. Not much interaction between most deprtments unless it is built into the job.

TD Commerce appears to be a growing institution.

Cons

Opportunities are based more on who you know versus what you know. Promises are made, but quickly forgotten! Information is not communicated.
