Pros

I used to genuinely enjoy working her when I first started. The culture was phenomenal and the teamwork among employees used to be top tier. You could actually depend and rely on your coworkers and management was supportive.

Cons

Whenever the management switched around there was a lot of animosity and management speaking poorly of associates. They also would speak to you in a condescending tone and look at you like you were beneath them. They expect one employee to do the jobs of three employees. They are always short staff because of how they treat their associates. They expect a clean back room while the associates are called to the register back and forth, called to clean out the restroom, and called into jewelry. When following the “chain of command” based on the open door policy nothing is accomplished. You’re half trained and it’s basically sink or swim. If you report management to the District Manager there’s retaliation and more of a workload for you. If you’re unable to complete never ending projects you’re expected to stay later if they have “payroll” or they will leave the task for you until you return for your next shift. The opportunities for growth at this location is slim. For the amount of work you do the pay should be more. They constantly want you pushing for the credit cards and when you don’t meet goal they hardly acknowledge you. Whenever someone gets credit cards they praise them and put others down by saying that person is carrying the team and everyone else needs to get on board. They don’t care how the cashiers get the credit cards and when you report that they’re not informing the customers that they’re applying for a credit card nothing is done about it.

Pros

Really easy job when the managers like you

Cons

There’s a lot of favoritism for employees who don’t do the job, and they will schedule you for shifts even if you tell them multiple times you cannot work those shifts they don’t care and will schedule you how they like. Rude managers
