To become as big and successful as TKE, good leadership is a must. Unsurprisingly this used to be a key characteristic for TKE as well. Used to be, as in the past tense, since leadership culture has taken a U-turn. Since Peter Walker took over the helm, a leadership culture of "absolute loyalty" and "the boss is always right" took hold. When representing the company in any official capacity the leadership can be very charming and considerate, but behind closed doors it's a different matter. It's not for nothing that employee churn is so high.
