Pros

No phone calls, no emails, just back-office moderating

Cons

Working there, from the office, felt like being in a prison. We had to be at our desks to guard the monitor and click every 30sec (even if we had no tickets) in order for the monitor to not go into sleep mode, otherwise we would have been penalized. Even if there was no work to do, we were not allowed to do something to entertain ourselves, for example reading a book or accessing the internet or drawing something. Nothing was allowed due to "security reasons". We were not even allowed to turn the lights on or off or change the settings of the AC. Management didn't care about their peoplea, it was all about looking good in front of the client. Only people who could/wanted to suck up to management were being promoted.

Pros

Colleagues come from different backgrounds so that is nice.

Cons

In my case, information given during the interview was not correct which caused me to work in an additional language for free for the first months. Communication with my supervisors regarding new tasks was near non-existent. There is a constant shift of responsibilities as mentioned by another poster. You will get to hear supervisors openly speaking about agents' performance (and other supervisors) in front of everyone. Despite being quite a colorful place with people from everywhere, there is a culture among some supervisors to be making discriminatory jokes based on ones nationality. I caught my manager red-handed sending messages about me to another agent. edit: today was my last day and when trying to return my items my supervisors kind of forgot that a document needs to be signed to confirm me handing over the things. They reserved an amount from my salary to ensure proper handover of equipment but did not make it possible for me to return in on my last day.
