Pros

A world wide company that is always looking for new ideas on Direct Marketing and Telemarketing. You can develope your professional carrer in diferent areas and they give you the opportunity to move yourself in different areas to try your skills

Cons

Here in Mexico, direct mail is loosing a great deal of business. And telemarketing is going to a very difficult way by the new terms of law. So I think this kind of companies has to change their business or the will die.

Pros

Working with TP was indeed fun and GREAT! They are very lenient with the policy, as long as you're performing well, but that depends on your supervisor. TP environment is a GREAT PLACE to work with surrounded with nice people. You could even communicate somehow casually with your higher bosses... and usually they reach out on the people. It's fun... yeah.. fun to start your career with.

Cons

The only thing that TP should improve is the way they compensate their employees. Actually, the base offer is not competitive, besides agents tend to become demotivated every pay day knowing that after all the hardships and difficulties we've encountered on the account, you'll get paid as what?! Yeah... the account and the job nature itself is very TOXIC. The satisfaction level on the salary doesn't even met your stress level. Besides, with the incentives, it's too low as well...improve those qualifiers in order to get the incentives. Hell yeah,..

Pros

I loved the people that worked within the company, as most were just really easy going.

Cons

They did not pay enough. the moral was terrible. There is a team, titled, Work Force Management, whose sole purpose was to watch out call handle time. As I do understand the need to make sure that we are staying within the Client's expectation of a handle time, I do not understand the approach that Teleperformance takes on it. Work Force management sit in these super tall cubicles, facing the floor of representatives and superiors, shouting loudly to the people that they feel should be wrapping up a call or checking on a caller. Numerous times I have had complaints from customers about the volume of their voices. On another negative note, I overheard numerous supervisors discussing a recent meeting, entailing that they, as superiors, were not allowed to communicate with the representatives, unless it was on the call center floor, and only about the job. This was alarming, as I have always found that I work better when I feel respected in the work place, which entails being friendly with the superiors.
