Pros

Nice atmosphere and friendly colleagues, tours and activities. If you are in a big hotel you can make great sales and receive good commission

Cons

Somedays you work more than 8 hours, and you work 6 days a week, even after office hours you have what to do at home and should answer calls, messages

Pros

Ok benefits, personal trip allowance and small medical benefits

Cons

Need to improve in directions of the company goals and values. No guidance from management and Malaysia office is almost disconnected from the main HQ, running the business locally following local instructions, that may not align with HQ’s main goal. Lack tools to help improve work processes and move forward, almost like walking backwards

Pros

Good Colleagues. Good training if time permits.

Cons

Retail teams very stretched and expected to handle ever increasing workloads that non customer facing teams do not. Crisis events always rely on retail teams who then have to deal with frustrated customers. Lengthy and difficult Complaint handling on top of unrealistic sales targets. Handling of social media (where are the marketing teams?). 7 day trading. Very big difference for working for Head Office teams compared to retail. Retail staff under constant pressure and work/life balance not fair compared to head office roles. No Flexi time or opportunity for Hybrid working. Head office teams have far superior working environments and working patterns.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Regarding your concerns about flexibility. We understand the importance of accommodating various needs and schedules. Unfortunately, due to the nature of some roles, we cannot provide the same flexibility in all functions. Thank you once again for sharing your thoughts.
