Overworked, under paid and unappreciated
Pros
Nice uniform opportunity to travel for free chance to earn extra money from commission (but only if your shop is performing which doesn’t happen often!!!)
Cons
In accommodating staff when you are a new starter expected to do a lot more than you are paid to do Often used as a general dog’s body if older staff do not like you work place bullying low pay CONSTANT papertrails stupid, outdated systems rude customers - company values making money over their people very poor understanding of mental health and the issues it causes whilst working stupidly strict on sick days (could be legitimately dying and they’d expect you to come in) you will never ever be seen as good enough and they will critique and pick apart every single thing you do
