Pros

Good career opportunities if you work hard, friendly people, chances to move around the business, believe in their brand, great training

Cons

benefits for working for a travel market leader don't extend to everyone in the business (I worked there for 4 years and couldn't earn concessions) Your work progress doesn't translate to different parts of the business- it seems like every brand has their structure which is good but also makes it difficult to have a career which constantly moves forward as sometimes you have to step back to move forward.

Pros

The organization is international, dynamic, fast paced and fun. There are many nice international colleagues around the world. It is a very large organization, so the business culture is very different in various TUI offices around the world. You have a lot of freedom around creating your objectives and personal development plan. If you are pro-active there are many international career opportunities and you will be able to run any project that you like. You can work in a more corporate or informal environment with flexible working hours.

Cons

Processes are not clearly defined it varies per country/business unit. Every business unit is focused on their own success and there are not many shared objectives across teams. Departments are slightly competitive and sensitive with information sharing. Between the various offices and brands there is not a strong TUI identity yet, but this will probably improve going forward.

Pros

Collaborative, perks, decent resources, reasonable hours of work.

Cons

Management expectations were ridiculous, and the number of "experts" looking over your shoulder intolerable at times.
