Pros

Fast paced and fun. Solid benefits. Ability to move roles. Education reimbursement is great. Lots of opportunity to advance at lower pay grades.

Cons

Lots of talk of diversity but little celebration of it at the daily, working level. Culture can be oppressive, your jobs and experience "before Target" don't exist, you have to be a cheerleader for the company or you are not a team player.

Pros

There is an ever-evolving environment and the opportunity to establish yourself as a leader in your business through hard-work and consistency. Plenty of room to grow and develop yourself as an all around leader with very interactive senior leadership staff whose goal is to grow your skills and proficiency levels of an effective manager.

Cons

The changing environment can be just as difficult to make good habits stick, for the focus may drift elsewhere soon after implementation of a new idea. However, this is solely based on the dedication of the managerial team to stick to enforcing upon fundamentals and good behavior.

Pros

Very good on overall development of most leaders. Great overall benefits.

Cons

Lacking diversity supportive initiatives in actual practice. They communicate to the public that diversity is valued in the workplace and focused on, but in reality diverse leaders' ideas, thoughts and suggestions are often ignored or heavily critiqued. There are many diverse leaders currently leaving the company for this very reason-they do not feel valued.
